Peyton Rivera, senior, will head off to bootcamp with the Marines after graduation in May. While he already officially swore in earlier this school year, he was able to take the Oath of Enlistment for the Marines at the Chiefs vs Broncos game on Sunday, November 10th.
Rivera said, âBeing in front of thousands of people during half time was nerve wracking because I didn't get a haircut. We didnât get special treatment. We got yelled at and had to stay professional. I was scared to take the oath because I didnât want to mess up. I canât wait to become a military police officer because I want to be a police officer after all of this.
