On Friday, November 8th RVHS KAY Club officers and board members attended the regional conference at Santa Fe Trail Middle School in Olathe. At this conference all the KAY clubs from Area 1 attend, and they go through a series of sessions where a member from each KAY club discusses what they do within their club, so all the other members are able to get new ideas for theirs. In addition the old area president passes down their title, and a new area president is elected.
Ashlyn Long said, “It is a great experience to unite with other people who have the same drive as us, and an opportunity to learn what other clubs do for their community.”
